This is perhaps the first time we’ve ever reviewed a 100-inch smart TV, and it’s a real thrill. The size of this panel is something that, if you have never had it in front of your eyes, it is really hard to imagine . However, as we will see throughout this guide, the Hisense Laser TV is a product that stands out for numerous features, benefits and functionalities.

But, as always, let’s start with the technical specifications:

  • Screen technology: DLP
  • Screen Resolution: UHD 4K
  • HDR: Yes
  • Operating system: Seraphic 4.0
  • Internet and Wifi: Yes
  • USB ports: 2
  • HDMI ports: 4

In short, looking at these specifications you might think that this smart laser TV does not have anything so special, and yet it is not. The screen size, which can be 80 or 100 inches, is combined with an innovative way of watching TV. On the other hand, the word ” laser ” was not then used so casually.

The transmission of contents, in fact, does not take place directly through the panel, but through the projector that must be positioned under it (as in the image above). Therefore, the screen becomes the “reflective source” of what is transmitted by the projector. We are talking about a new and latest generation technique that is already having considerable success.

However, and this must be said, we are talking about a very high cost smart TV . On the other hand, the visual and sound quality are combined with a new way of watching television. In particular we must highlight the X-Fusion ™ Laser Light Engine technology with DLP chip that affects the Hisense projector, whose task is to guarantee up to 25,000 hours of duration, less light dispersion and extremely sharp and realistic contents.

As for the images, their beauty is guaranteed by the UHD 4K resolution, HDR and Pure Color technology, which takes care of expanding the chromatic range and making the colors extremely vivid and bright. In addition to the visual quality, a point in favor for these Hisense Lasers is that related to the certification for the reduced emission of blue light .

In essence, the fact that the content is projected on the panel reduces eye strain, making it the appropriate choice for the whole family. On the sound side, although praised by the multinational itself, we find ourselves somewhat in disagreement. The Dolby Atmos sound system is flawless, as always, but 30 watts of output power is a bit limiting.

However, the acoustic performance is very good, since the audio is heard in a crystal clear way and the sound follows the movement of objects or characters on the screen. The smart section, on the other hand, is entirely based on the Seraphic 4.0 operating system and on the most updated and intuitive version of the VIDAA U.4 platform , thus making it easy to navigate and extremely interactive.

Smart TV management is simplified by the Alexa integration , which you can access both via the remote control and via the smartphone app. The app sector is rich and varied, and the most loved and used ones are already present on the TV: Netflix, Youtube, Prime Video, DAZN, Rakuten TV.

In conclusion, these Hisense Laser TVs are an excellent product, certainly niche, but excellent .
