In 2019, Philips was particularly appreciated for having put on the market a low-end Smart TV, that is, with a very advantageous price. In fact, finding a television with UHD 4K and HDR resolution for less than € 450 is practically impossible. The visual quality therefore, although the price is lower than other models, we can say it has not been affected in the least.

Indeed, the top resolution is combined with over 8 billion pixels and Ultra Resolution technology , capable of optimizing every scene. Optimization occurs automatically, regardless of the original content. Also good are the levels related to sharpness, contrast and brightness, which are adjusted by the HDR10 + to offer realistic and precise content.

The Pixel Precise Ultra HD feature , made by Philips to convert low resolution images to UHD 4K content, is very popular. Entertainment is therefore always at the top of the range. Even from an aesthetic point of view, this Philips Smart TV has all the credentials. The design appears linear and elegant, with very thin bezels and with the structure of a very light shade.

At the same time, an obsessive attention was also paid to the sound section. The two speakers offer 20 watts of total power, and the sound system has been entrusted to Dolby Atmos . The dialogues are crystal clear, the bass has been improved and the automatic volume adjustment makes the entertainment experience even more perfect.

The smart section is also excellent, at the base of which we find the SAPHI operating system , which is characterized by a simple and intuitive use. This is also due to the icon menu, which makes managing the TV even easier : the connection with the smartphone, as well as access to the apps, is practically immediate.

The range of applications is good, but not perfect. Some apps that are well known and appreciated by users are missing, such as DAZN, Apple TV and Now TV. However, there is no question of the presence of the most classic, such as YouTube, Netflix, Mediaset Play, Prime Video and Rai Play.

Despite this small flaw, this Philips Smart TV we can say has satisfied the needs of many people , who not only declare themselves very satisfied with the product, but underline its excellent value for money. As for the connection with the smartphone, on the other hand, the management is facilitated by the SimplyShare function , which allows you, in a few moments, to transmit your multimedia contents on the home screen.

Furthermore, one aspect that many users have positively pointed out is the ability to pause programs and, at the same time, record them to an external USB stick, so that you can watch them whenever you want. Finally, the auto-detection of Philips devices is also a feature that has caught the attention of many people, as it makes it easier to connect with other devices.
