This Samsung smart TV is one of those that we can say has achieved a good result once placed on the Italian market . It might seem a trivial aspect to underline, but since it is a television destined for the Eastern European market, it is not at all. However, don’t panic: it is perfectly usable even in Italy.

As many users point out, to be able to watch all programs and to tune in channels it is enough to set Greece as a country . Consequently, its destination to other destinations is not to be considered a limit or a problem for its management or use. That said, it should be immediately emphasized that the winning aspect of this smart TV is definitely the image quality.

This is because, like most Samsung TVs, the South Korean house has combined the efficiency of its best technologies . In addition to UHD 4K resolution and HDR, in fact, there are two other features that make significant improvements to the quality of content. The first is the PurColor , which takes care of expanding the color range and making it more lively and realistic.

The second, on the other hand, is UHD Dimming , whose function is to optimize the contrast and sharpness levels in every single part of the screen. That’s why, as Samsung points out, details are highlighted when viewing content. In addition, thanks to the Steam Link function you can connect your PC to the TV in a few seconds, to play at the highest resolution.

Even the audio we can say is characterized by good quality. The sound system is Dolby Digital Plus, which works together with two speakers with a total power of 20 watts . The only flaw concerns the impossibility of expanding the sound system with external amplifiers, because the Bluetooth connection and the headphone output are missing . Unfortunately, this is a problem that has been stressed multiple times by consumers.

As for the smart section, on the other hand, there are some bigger shortcomings. The only advantages are to be found in the ease of use , supported by the practical hub, by the single remote control to use to manage the TV and by the Universal Guide, which contains all your favorite programs offering you related contents.

The only noticeable feature is Samsung Cloud , which allows you to share multimedia content from your smartphone to the TV panel. For the rest, however, the following is missing:

  • SmartThings App to manage television directly from the phone;
  • The Bixby voice assistant;
  • Compatibility with Alexa and Google Assistant;
  • AirPlay 2 app for owners of Apple devices;
  • Bluetooth connection

So in short, despite the final good outcome, our opinion is not the best. Today there are much more complete 55-inch smart TVs, and above all much more equipped on the smart side. If you want to give it a look, , read this guide .
