2019 was an important and exciting year for Samsung, bringing numerous smart TVs to the market that were enjoyed by thousands of users. This is the case of this model, characterized by a significant quality-price ratio . The winning aspect is certainly the visual quality, supported by multiple technologies and features arranged by the South Korean house.

The smart section, on the other hand, according to some users, could have been a little more complete. However, in our opinion and our experiences, we believe that, except for a few minor failings, all in all it is an excellent smart TV in which to invest . Like most Samsung televisions produced in 2019, this one also enjoys the renowned Slim Design.

The aesthetic therefore appears linear and refined, with a thin panel equipped with equally thin bezels. As for the images, they are characterized by an unmistakable realism and beauty, as evidenced by numerous users. UHD 4K resolution, coupled with HDR, ensure a crisp and crystal clear entertainment experience, but that’s not all.

In fact, at the base of this Samsung smart TV, we find the UHD processor , which orchestrates and optimizes the levels of sharpness, contrast and color. Additionally, there are two other technologies that add value to visual quality:

  • PurColor : Increases and enhances the color range, offering very natural and realistic colors and shades;
  • UHD Dimming : Optimizes contrast levels by highlighting the difference between bright whites and dark, deep blacks.

That’s why, despite being a 55-inch screen, the sharpness and contours are not affected in the least. The audio section is equally good, even if, to expand the sound experience, it is advisable to connect a soundbar via the appropriate Bluetooth connection . The speakers of the TV in fact, reach up to 20 watts of power, which may appear a bit low for those who aim to enjoy a deep and engaging audio.

Finally, we have the smart section, entirely based on the Tizen operating system . The latter, despite being of good quality, does not seem to reach the efficiency of Android. This is because, the navigation of the smart TV, very often appears slowed down. However, the management and interaction with the TV is really complete and easy to use.

First of all, to manage all the devices connected to the television it is sufficient to use a single remote control . The latter, however, does not have the key for voice control, since this smart TV is not equipped with Bixby, the famous voice assistant from Samsung. On the other hand, however, you can always connect Alexa or Google Assistant , as they are compatible.

Finally, the Universal Guide contains all your favorite shows and “takes care” to search for related content. This will speed up the process of finding movies, TV series or any other content you want to watch.

As for the flaws , in addition to the absence of Bixby, users underline the impossibility of recording on the USB stick and uninstalling the apps already present on the TV, but above all the high advertising in the smart hub.
